On Thursday we held a party to say goodbye to *Aadan, a service user who has been with ARKRS for almost two years. After his release from prison Aadan couldn’t return to his family home as his licence conditions prevented it. When he first moved into the house, Aadan was having difficulties with his immigration status as his right to work in the UK had been withdrawn after his offence. With the help of his probation officer and his resettlement worker he has been able to prepare for work by going on a forklifting course, and gradually make the transition back to his family home. He and his wife are very excited for him to move and he is looking forward to spending time with his kids and helping out around the house. We will be keeping in touch and wish him all the best for the future!
